(DR 1469-) A well known local character, this 11 year old human girl has been a resident of the Fisher's Friend all her life. She doesn't know who her parents are, but has suspicions. Her mother is Alya, a one time 'worker' at the Fisher's Friend, and a favourite of the owner Algrim Thane. Her father was probably an adventurer who spent a few weeks in loudwater. About a year after Kally's birth, a merchant's son fell in love with her mother and offered to take her away from all this, but the baby was not part of the deal. She left leaving Kally in the care of Algrim Thane, promising to send money for her upkeep. For a while the money arrived regularly, but when Kally was about 9 years old the money suddenly stopped. About 2 years before, Kally had discovered that she could make decent pocket money running errands for the sailors and dock workers, carrying messages, arranging introductions to the ladies of the fishers friend, and in the process she has learnt in detail the workings of the docks, knowing most of the low level workers and sailors.
When the money ran out she was able to replace it by stepping up her work at the docks. She is quick witted, and has a natural ability to judge people's character, and motives, and use this to ingratiate herself with them. Pealias met her on a walk around the docks, and was impressed by her and in fact was considering her as a possible student at the school he was planning, so has maintained contact whenever possible. After meeting Ilvanus and beginning their plans (22/6/1480 DR), he suggested that Kally might be a useful contact.
